The traffic restrictions across the country for Nowruz 1404 have been announced.
With the arrival of Nowruz, Iran’s roads and cities witnessed a significant influx of travelers heading to diverse destinations, from the lush northern regions to the sunny southern coasts and even holy sites like Mashhad. Though among the most exciting annual events, New Year travels have always been accompanied by challenges such as grueling traffic, road accidents, and roadway obstacles.
Colonel Ahmad Karami Asad, Commander of the Traffic Police, stated: «The special Nowruz 1404 plan, focused on reducing accident statistics and improving traffic flow, will be implemented from 28 Esfand 1403 (March 18, 2025) to 15 Farvardin 1404 (April 4, 2025).»
